2010 Annual Meetings

The 2010 ECL Annual Conference and General Assembly were hosted by the Portuguese Cancer League at the Porto Palacio Hotel in Porto, Portugal, from 27 to 30 October 2010.

WE WERE CELEBRATING OUR 30TH BIRTHDAY THIS YEAR!!  Since 1980, our leagues have been working together in cancer prevention and control.  We look forward to many, many more successful years in our collaborative fight against cancer!

ECL 2010 Annual Conference

The theme for this year's Annual Conference on 29 October was "In Partnership Against Cancer", where guest speakers presented on the European Partnership for Action Against Cancer's work packages:   prevention, screening, healthcare, research, and information.  There was also a special session commemorating ECL's 30 years!

Past Event: 2009 ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND GENERAL ASSEMBLY

The 2009 meetings were hosted by the Dutch Cancer Society in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, from 16 to 17 October 2009.

The 2008 meetings were hosted by the Turkish Association for Cancer Research and Control in Istanbul, Turkey from 18 to 20 October 2008.

Past Event: 2007 ANNUAL MEETINGS

In 2007, the ECL annual meetings were hosted by the Swiss Cancer League and took place in Basel, alongside the European Conference on Tobacco or Health (ECToH).
